JESSICA SWEAT

SOFTBALL: Hitting, Slapping, Throwing, Fielding, Base Running

AGE GROUP: 6 years old to college.  

RATE: $45/30 minutes

ABOUT ME: 

Jessica attended Harrison High School where she was a 3-sport varsity athlete and was later inducted into the Harrison High School Hall of Fame. She went on to play at Marshall University with her twin sister Amanda, where she made All-Conference every year, was a 3-year captain, and finished her college career in the top five of six different career categories. In 2006, Jessica was 1 of 28 players drafted (Amanda as well) to the National Professional Fastpitch League with the Chicago Bandits. She played professional softball for 6 years, winning a championship in 2010 with the USSSA Florida Pride. Jessica has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies. She has coached collegiality at the Division 1 level for 7 years, is currently a community coach at Mount Paran Christian School, and coaches the USA of Georgia AllAmerican team.

ATHLETIC & COACHING EXPERIENCE: 

Professional:

In 2006, Jessica was 1 of 28 players drafted to the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) League, to the Chicago Bandits. She played professional softball for 6 years, winning a championship in 2010 with the USSSA Florida Pride, and finished her career in 2011 with the Akron Racers.

 

Coaching:

Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies. She has coached collegiality at the Division 1 level for 7 years including Marshall University, Western Carolina University, and most recently at the University of San Diego.

Currently, she coaches softball at Mount Paran Christian School, as well as the USA of Georgia All-American team
